Easy Access Self Storage (Stockport)

Feeling very let down and would love to share my experience.nnThere was a 3 month gap from moving out of my old home and into my new home.nI sadly decided to use Easy Access Self Storage.nYeah the unit was big enough and the guys on site helped me tremendously. They even said I could pay for my final 10 days instead of a full months rental.nn3 weeks later ...nMe .... hi easy access where’s my £164 deposit.nEasy access .... oh yeah I’ll get finance to have a look.n1 week later.... I receive a letter and cheque.nLetter stated dear Christopher .... who’s Christopher?nCheque was for just over £109!!nMe.... hi easy access where’s the rest of my deposit?nEasy access ..... oh yeah we made yet another mistake and you should of paid for 14 days not 10. So we decided we will keep the extra money even though it was our error!!! They even had the cheek to put this in an email and tried to say it is in the terms and conditions..... I’d say this was more of a training issue on customer care by not going back on an agreement that had already been made by the staff at the units.nnHaving read through some of the reviews all the negative feedback is towards the accounts department. Especially how long it takes for the return of a deposit and these issues were happening pre covid.nnI questioned the calculations as these don’t add up ...... no response.nnMoral of the story ..... easy access get customers to pay for their mistakes and once you’ve vacated you get ignored.nnI’m still trying to guess who Christopher is nnI would definitely not recommend and very much doubt they will contact to resolve my outstanding issues""
