How It All Began

The idea for Self Storage Search started with a personal challenge. After finishing my degree in Business and Logistics, I was moving out of my student apartment and planning a months-long trip. With nowhere to store my things, and friends short on space, someone suggested I try self-storage.

Honestly, I had no idea what self-storage even was! After a quick crash course from friends, I started searching for facilities nearby — only to discover how hard it was to find good information, compare options, or read honest reviews. Eventually, I found a place, stored my things safely, and went on my trip with peace of mind.

That experience stayed with me. It showed me how useful self-storage could be, and also how confusing the process felt if you’d never used it before.
